Manufactured by Picard Petot & Lienard of Paris, whose "logo" appears in the lid of the case, these binoculars were probably made around 1900. They are leather trimmed and come with their original leather case. The binoculars still function and they are in good condition considering their age. The case has of course taken the brunt of the wear and tear over the years; tThe binoculars' strap is missing and the case strap is broken and incomplete.
A superb display piece on any shelf.
