Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For lampshades the film covering must still be in place.  We are unable to accept the return of personal hygiene products such as hand creams. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  See below for how to return goods to us.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, plants or flowers), custom products (such as special orders or personalised products) and personal care products (such as beauty products, hand creams etc.).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a week.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at keith@rubyjoneshome.com.
 

Exchanges
We can only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange a defective or damaged item for a replacement of the same item, send us an email at keith@rubyjoneshome.com explaining the problem and we will get back to you to discuss.  Many of the items that we sell are not repeatable so it may only be possible to offer a refund rather than an exchange.

Shipping 
To return your product for a refund or exchange you should mail/courier your product to: Ruby Jones Home, 112 West Street, Farnham GU9 7HH United Kingdom.  Don't forget to include your contact details and a short explanation of why you are sending the item back to us.  Alternatively, call into our shop if you can, with the item in question, to discuss a refund or exchange.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
   
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
