Returns
In the unlikely event that you do not absolutely love your purchase, our returns policy lasts 30 days, even if you have just changed your mind.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For lampshades the film covering must still be in place.  We are unable to accept the return of personal hygiene and beauty products such as hand creams, body lotions, etc., or items that have been specifically made to your order. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
Don't forget to include you details and quote the order number from earlier emails.  Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and letting you know if your refund request has been approved.

If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to the original account used to purchase the item, usually within a week.

Exchanges
We can only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange a defective or damaged item for a replacement of the same item, send us an email to keith@rubyjoneshome.com explaining the problem, together with photographs if possible, and we will get back to you to discuss.  Many of the items that we sell are not repeatable so it may only be possible to offer a refund rather than an exchange.

Shipping 
To return your product for a refund or agreed exchange you should mail/courier your product to:

Don't forget to include your contact details and a short explanation of why you are sending the item back to us.  Alternatively, call into our shop if you can, with the item in question, to discuss a refund or exchange.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
   
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
